- Management or a limited class racer who raced in the same Main with the subject can request an engine tear down. Management retains the right to deny a tear down. The source requesting the tear down must put up $20 for the subject's time and materials. The subject will tear down his own motor after the class's A-Main in front of track tech officials using his own tools. Only management, tech officials, the subject, and the person requesting the tear down will be present during the procedure. The vehicle may be impounded until the engine can be torn down. If the engine is found to be in violation of the engine rules or the subject rejects the request, the $20 tear down fee will be returned to the source and the above rule breaking consequences will result in forfeit of all “Limited” points and not participate in future “Limited” classes in the future at Newville R/C Speedway.

| Newville Dirt Oval Championship Race: |
Infomation available here. |
| Points Race: |
Entry Fee for Points Races will be $12 and $10 for each Additional RC Class Raced. We will Run Two Rounds of Qualifying(Heats) and then the Mains. Heats are just a Practice and Qualifying Time for You to Get Your RC('s) Ready for the Mains. Heats are Timed Races, not Position Races like the Mains. Yes, if you Start Last in Your Heat and Finish First, You will Qualify Better than the Other RC's You Raced in Your Heat, but your Finishing Time is Averaged in With All Other Racers in Your Same Class, to Decide Where You will Qualify for the Mains. In the Mains, Wherever you Finish is what Place You Take. 1st and 2nd Place Racers of B-Main, C-Main, etc..., Will Bump-Up to 9th and 10th Place in Next Higher Main. So You Can Start in the C-Main and Still End Up Winning the A-Main. Fair-Enough? We have Seen it Happen Before, so it can Happen Again. Points will be Awarded to Each Position in All Mains. If You Qualified 1st in any Class, You will Receive a Bonus 5 Points Added to your Finishing Points for that Class. The Points you Receive for the Position You Took that night, will be Added to Previous Points Races and Give You a Total Accumulated Points for the season. Points Accumulated will be Figured Between All Drivers in Each Class. At the End of the Season, Trophies will be Awarded to Top Drivers in Each Class with the Most Accumulated Points. Payouts for Each Points Race will be Based on the Number of Entries. So Get Those RC's up to the Front and You Win!!! No Rough Stuff Please!!! |
| NOTES ON POINTS & NON-POINT RACES(Weather Relating): |
If one Round of Heats has been Completed and the Weather Changes to Rain for that Night, Before Running the Mains, Points will be Awarded to Each Racer in the Order that the Racers had Qualified. On Rain-Out Nights, on a Points Race Night, Each Racer will Receive the Minimum Amount of Points Available for their Class. Well, We Don't Want Rain, We Want to Race, but this has Happened Before!!! As far as General Non-Points Race Nights with Payouts, Positions will be Determined by Your Qualifying Position in the Heats, if Weather Changes to Rain before Running the Mains! |
| Payouts: |
All classes will have cash payouts; number of entries will determine the amount and places for payouts |
| Turn Marshalling: |
Gloves are recommended. After your race, it is your responsibility to turn marshal. If you cannot, please fine someone to marshal for you. NO PROFANITY OR YELLING AT THE MARSHALLS. |
| Tech Inspection: |
We will tech on a random basis. If you are called to tech after your race, take your vehicle to the tech table and head out to marshal. Failure to do so will result in a 2 lap deduction from your best run. If it is in a Main, you will be credited with last place. |
| Rulings: |
All tech rulings or class specification issues will be made by Newville R/C Speedway and Hobbies and are final. If you have questions, please ask Mike or Jack. |
